Monodisperse AuCuSn trimetallic nanocube catalysts.

چکیده
Monodisperse trimetallic AuCuSn nanocubes are reported where Sn and Cu are inserted into the crystal lattice following co-precipitation protocols along with Au. These trimetallics are explored further towards catalytic hydrazine electrooxidation and their enhanced catalytic activity compared with their bimetallic counterpart AuCu is reported.

Controlling and self assembling of monodisperse platinum nanocubes as efficient methanol oxidation electrocatalysts.
An efficient synthetic approach that enables not only the control of Pt nanocubes but also the one-pot fabrication of novel Pt nanocube assemblies was developed for the first time. The integration of well-defined building blocks and unique superstructures endows Pt nanocube assemblies with enhanced performance in the methanol electrooxidation, showing a new concept for further enhancing the per...
متن کاملComparison of bimetallic and trimetallic catalyst in reductive dechlorination; influence of copper addition
Efficiency of reduction of PCBs in aqueous solution was examined with the help of bimetallic catalyst Fe-C/Pd consisting of palladized grey cast iron and with a newly designed trimetallic catalyst (Cu-Fe-C/Pd) consisting of a copper metal plate with embodied microparticles of palladized grey iron (bimetallic catalyst). PCB solutions were prepared using DELOR 103. The trimetallic catalyst was si...
متن کاملMoS₂ nanocube structures as catalysts for electrochemical H₂ evolution from acidic aqueous solutions.
Core-shell PMMA-Au nanocube structures made by a combination of nanoimprint lithography and sidewall deposition were used as template for electrodeposition of MoS2, Ni, and Pt. Linear sweep voltammetry experiments obtained in an aqueous solution containing 0.29 M H2SO4 (pH 0.24) showed that the onset potential of the core-shell-shell PMMA-Au-MoS2 nanocube electrode for the hydrogen evolution re...

Trimetallic magnesium complexes bearing amine-bis(benzotriazole phenolate) derivatives as bifunctional catalysts for ring-opening polymerization and CO2/epoxide coupling.
New trimetallic magnesium complexes were synthesized for bifunctional catalysis. Complex catalysed ε-caprolactone polymerizations in not only a 'living' manner but also in an 'immortal' fashion. Additionally, tri-Mg was active for the coupling of CO(2) with cyclohexene oxide (CHO) on addition of n-Bu(4)NBr co-catalysts to give cis-cyclohexene carbonate under mild conditions.
